The Pond Side Sauna

The Sauna pictured above was built for a life-long Sauna enthusiast. This site-built project (360 square feet overall) integrates the superior design features of the Original Solhem Sauna with materials and architectural details of the existing home. A comfortably furnished sitting room adjoins the stove-room, and was designed to serve as overnight guest accommodations as well. The wrap-around porch provides a transition space to the pond and forest site and a protected place for relaxation. Through careful consideration of client needs and existing site features, a complementary and beautiful Sauna was created.
